DR NEIL KIRK

Lecturer

Dr Neil Kirk is a Lecturer in Psychology at Abertay University.  Inspired by the experience of growing up surrounded by speakers of Dundee’s distinctive dialect, Neil’s research investigates what is happening in the minds of those who switch between language varieties that don’t normally get considered separate languages, and whose speakers wouldn’t regard themselves as bilingual.
